Behind the name.
FYR = Find Your Reason
It's the spark behind everything we do. When you find your reason, you show up differently — for your business, your community, and yourself. That's the energy we bring to every event we host.
The lighthouse is intentional.
The lighthouse in our logo isn't decoration — it's a statement. We see FYR Production as a beacon for East Texas entrepreneurs: a way to help you find your people, shine a little brighter, and move forward together. And here's a little secret: our founder Cecilia Wichmann is Swedish-American, and in Swedish, "fyr" literally means lighthouse. It was always meant to be.
Why Cecilia built this.
FYR Production was created in 2026 by Cecilia Wichmann, who was tired of driving 45 minutes to an hour just to find her people. She knew East Texas had no shortage of entrepreneurs, makers, and small business owners — it just needed a room to put them all in.
So she built that room. And then she built a few more. We hope every event is a little fun, a lot productive, and proof that when small businesses come together, the whole community wins.
